"You must remember this..."

Fans of the 1940s cinema classic Casablanca have been asking several questions since the film ended on that foggy Moroccan airstrip so many years ago. Did Rick Blaine and Ilsa ever meet up again? Why did the French Prefect of police Louis Renault speak with an upper-class British accent? Was Victor Lazlo really gay? I mean, come on, he was supposed to be married to Ingrid Bergman, but did he so much as wink at her? Noooooooo.

Now, through the magic of computer graphics and being a corporation without a soul, LTM TV is proud to present the made-for-TV movie Casablanca 2: The Blitzening. Read on for a synopsis of this very special piece of movie making, or click the link for a sneak preview exclusive to this website: the shooting script pages from Rick and Ilsa's next reunion...

SYNOPSIS

Having escaped from Casablanca, Lazlo and Ilsa are now living in London, trying to build up the Resistance network. Ilsa has become a singer in a bar. Rick and Renault, now touring the world as a tap-dancing duo (a cover for their arms smuggling operation to help the Allies), are reunited with Ilsa when they wander into her bar, called the "Rick, Come Back, I Don't Really Love Victor Pub & Olde Time Steak House".

Rick's loyal piano-player and slave-in-all-but-name Sam meanwhile has murdered the fat guy who took over Rick's bar in Casablanca and assembled a team of sub-par movie stereotypes to help run the place; Woppy Joe the Italian Hoodlum, Senor Siesta the Spanish Mariachi band member and many other wonderful racist assortments. When Rick and Ilsa inevitably run away together (again), they go back to Casablanca to start a new life writing Harry Potter fan-fictions.

However, Victor wants his lady (finally) and is revealed to be Adolf Hitler in disguise. He kills Renault following a frantic fight on the London Bridge. Victor then flies to Casblanca and blitzes the entire town. Bogart and Ilsa emerge from the rubble and the three of them skip off into the sunset together.

"We'll always have Casablanca, kid...at least, we did till Lazlo blew it up"
