Whoa weird I just read this entire thread for the first time other than the one thing I wrote at the beginning. I don't think I've read it since. Weird.

Anyways, for a job I am a full-time mom. Today Kaspar just had his first solid food...very exciting. I get paid by the government...or at least I'm trying to get money out of them, bastards.

Normally I'm a student in a Bachelor of Music program.

The government support in Australia is amazing. Some people say it's almost too generous. There's all these stories on the news about people living off of it and refusing to get jobs. Of course, you can't get support if you don't have proof of job interviews and try-outs etc. so I don't know how they managed to pull it off. Especially for people so lazy.

Anyway, I'm currently unemployed. I'm a student.

What do you want to do with your music?

Oh people live off of the government here too but it's so freaking complicated to get it started! Oh and today I got some money from the federal government ($100) along with a bill for a speeding ticket I was told not to pay by the cop, which has now jumped to $200! Fucking government.

With my music I hope to teach either private voice lessons, or high school music. But I also want to get some sort of Catholic theology certificate/diploma and then I'll do music ministry in some cathedral somewhere, likely still teaching on the side.

I do play the piano, and voice is considered an instrument. Very difficult, actually. I'm working on singing opera. I haven't played piano in about 6 or 7 months...it's not my favourite. I only did it because I had to.

What do you go to school for?

In the end we're all replaced, and the upgrades are usually more like downgrades.

I'm alive again.

SILENCE! What grade?

I think I can outdo you on the youth scale...

Maybe even the maturity scale, but that's another story.

Are you saying I'm a downgrade?! *GASP* Surprised

I'm starting year 11 (we say year instead of grade here) in a week.

I don't live off the government because they provide us with sweet NOTHING. Not even something so basic as electricity! Our economy is going down the drain just because building new power plants is politically incorrect and is a slap in the face to the poor who are not used to this luxury. Now we must all share the joy of no electricity!

This is exactly why I am so staunchly Libertarian. Which is really just a euphemism for Fascist. Like Thomas Jefferson was a slave-owning Fascist I greatly admire. If REAL AMERICANS like he had had their way there would be no Canada today! Or no Mexico. Or no Israel. I say screw the government, screw government support. Let the rich help themselves and the poor be shot!

I'm guessing that was slightly over exaggerated for humorous purposes?

I don't know much about US politics, but I've seen quite a few jokes aimed at the republican party. I'm guessing they're the least popular? I dunno.

Everything Phenom says is something else or isn't. I've learned not to question it.
