I started reading this at my girlfriends place, it's neat.

I know I am late on this one cause I already know how the series ends but whatevs. I wake up early all the time and my girlfriend just sleeps soi I started reading her books.

Anyways, I thought I would share my accomplishment. I am actually reading a book!

Haha congratulations on the beginning of reading a book! Prisoner of Azkaban was the first Harry Potter book I read...and I still haven't read Chamber of Secrets or the Sorceror's Stone. I got along just fine without them, I thought. Maybe one day I'll venture out and read them.

Now that I think about it, the first two books are basically fillers. There're no important recurring characters in the rest of the series from those two first books, and... Well, actually the second book was more important than the first, but still. Not much significance.

When I started reading it I thought it was the first book. I mean, I was introduced to all the characters and all that jazz, so I guess I will be fine without the first two.

Tsk tsk. The first two books are still entertaining and about Harry growing. That's why they're important. In the grand scheme of things their stories don't have much to do with the last two or so but they're still GOOD.

I find it hilarious that you described Harry Potter as "the grand scheme of things".

Also Dumbledoor is!!!
*suspense*
You MIGHT not wanna read this if you haven't read book seven yet. It doesn't really contain any MAJOR spoilers, but it's just something about Dumbledoor that I'm pretty sure no one was expecting.
