Has anyone heard from that guy: Ross (RIP)? Also. Have any LTMers ever met IRL? That would be weird.

Before Ross disappeared and went to Thailand or where ever it was, he was going to come to Wyoming and I was to take him to Yellowstone. PIPE DREAMS. I do, however wish to visit Phen in South Africa for a couple of months, it will be like a sitcom or situational comedy, if you will.

I speak to Ross internet-style on occasion, but, yeah, he's hidden away in Thailand mostly. He makes people pay him money to do website stuff now and we can't afford his fancy styles.

One of my hunkier meetings with Gringo is documented on his other website DINGINGWITHASTRANGER.COM PRACATAN!!!

I thought Ross just stoned himself to a blissfully ignorant world of Thai man-whores while he tried to play the mandolin.

And we really don't need any more Americans in South Africa, thanks. A certain Bible study thing we have when usually five or more Americans show up actually makes a perfect sitcom already. Unless I can have sex with your sister or you bring over some NYrican or what do they call themselves?

Phen, How did you feel about District 9? I thought it was awesome and actually pretty smart for a sci-fi 'bout aliens.

I very much enjoyed that movie. It still resides on my DVR in fact. Probably the only good reality movie ever. Well, other than that big spaceship overhead it sure felt like reality. That kind of thing makes you feel proud to be born in the City of Johannesburg.

That big building I've been staring at my whole life was featured in a Hollywood movie. It's called the Carlton Tower. It's about 45 years old and STILL the tallest building in Africa even though it's only about a third of the height of the Empire State Building. If it was in midtown Manhattan it would be completely unremarkable. Well, I suppose someone would remark on its rather drab exterior but it would even be dwarfed by the MetLife building. But in Africa anything more impressive than an elephant dung hut deserves mention!

By the way, Lauren, I have always wanted to visit the great state of Wyoming for no apparent reason. Would you take me to Yellowstone Park?

Sure thing. And regarding your reply to my District 9 inquiry. The tallest building in Wyoming is the 9 story dorm at the University of Wyoming. Wyoming is one of the largest states in America but has the lowest population. There are only 420,000 of us. The capital is the largest city at 50,000. So if you came to visit, don't expect city life.

I don't like cities. I want to be alone with mah pigs and mah sheep. I've only seen Wyoming from above and I did make out the odd forest and some guy gettin' tending his sheep. That's a rugged man to admire, uh huh.

I'm very sorry I can't be funny. Embarassed
